How to Calculate Gravel?

To calculate the amount of gravel needed, multiply the length, width, and depth of the area to get the volume in cubic feet.

Formula: Length (ft) × Width (ft) × Depth (ft) = Volume (ft³)

Then divide by 27 to get Cubic Yards: Volume (ft³) / 27 = Volume (yd³)

Finally, multiply by the density (usually 1.41 tons per cubic yard for gravel) to get the weight.
